The Community Foundation for Lancashire in partnership with Regenerate Pennine Lancashire are pleased to announce the Youth Enterprise Fund!
Grants of £1000 or £2000 are available for individuals aged between 14-25. Projects should enable young people to flourish, learn or develop business skills or knowledge; continue or expand their enterprising work; or build their capacity for the future. Applications must be from individuals though tutors are welcome to nominate students also.

The Surviving Winter Appeal is a UK wide coordinated campaign to encourage those who can afford it, to donate their Winter Fuel payment to support older and vulnerable people affected by fuel poverty this winter.
Voluntary and community groups in Lancashire who are supporting vulnerable older people and also people suffering severe economic disadvantage and poverty can apply for up to £500.

Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH) is committed to improving not just the homes of their customers but also their quality of life. As part of their efforts to achieve this aim BCH have created a £100,000 annual Tenants Project Fund which will support projects that genuinely make a difference to the lives of their customers and the neighbourhoods in which they live.
The Tenants Project Fund (TPF) will make awards of between £500 and £10,000 for projects that have a significant positive impact on the lives of Blackpool Council tenants / leaseholders and meet at least one of the following BCH corporate objectives:
1. To provide BCH customers with high quality homes and services that represent excellent value for money.
2. To empower BCH customers, ensuring that they are placed at the heart of everything
3. To contribute to the wider regeneration of Blackpool; creating jobs and opportunities for local people and improving the health and wellbeing of residents.
4. To reduce impact on the environment.

The Royal London Foundation- to be eligible you must be a Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited member or be nominated by a member.
Background Information: In April 2011 they launched The Royal London Foundation in honour of their founders, Henry Ridge and Joseph Degge, and the principles with which they set up Royal London. The aim of the Foundation is to help people in UK communities in which the members live, by providing grants to charities and projects they support. Members of Royal London are able to nominate a cause to receive a grant.
What is the focus of the fund:
Education - Projects whose objectives are to help develop the skills of people who require assistance and do not otherwise have access to appropriate support;
Elderly - Projects which help older generations who require assistance in their daily lives
Health - Projects that provide health and fitness activities to those who might not otherwise have access to such facilities
How much is available: £1,000, £3,000, £5,000 or £10,000.
Which areas are covered: Lancashire
Special Criteria: Groups must have a turnover of £50,000 or less per annum to apply
NB: The application must be made on behalf of a Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited member. Any organisation which has received a grant from The Royal London Foundation in the previous 12 months can not apply
