I am the Community Knowledge and Research Business Development Executive, working closely with Business Development Executive (Events & Marketing) to support the delivery of our Community Philanthropy Strategy and Growth Plans.

My key responsibilities are to continuously develop both our community and commercial knowledge of Merseyside and Lancashire. This research gives us our specialist local insight, helping maximise the effects of our donor’s contributions and ultimately allowing us to be of greatest benefit to the community we serve.

Previously, I have spent the majority of my professional life in the hospitality industry, a past which I have enjoyed greatly and has given me valuable life skills. My ultimate goal has always been to work in an organisation that strives to make a positive difference in society and I’m excited by what the future holds with Community Foundation.

One of my main tasks annually is the development of Vital Signs, a report which utilises primary and secondary data on local community issues to guide giving in the most effective way. Vital Signs measures the vitality and aspirations of our communities; recognises significant trends, and identifies social priorities critical to quality of life.

I graduated from Liverpool John Moores in 2016, receiving first class honours Business Management. Whilst at university I developed a passion for the charity and voluntary sector, taking modules in CSR and creating a social enterprise for my final project.
